EPUB is what most ebook stores hand you, and it is a good format for reading on a phone or an e-reader — text reflows to fit whatever screen you hold. That same flexibility becomes a problem the moment you want a fixed page: printing a chapter for a book club, submitting a manuscript, annotating a textbook on a tablet, or archiving something in a format that will still open in twenty years. PDF is what people ask for in those situations, and getting there usually means installing Calibre or uploading a book you paid for to a stranger's server.
This converter runs entirely in your browser. An EPUB is really a ZIP archive holding XHTML chapters, stylesheets and images, so the tool unpacks it locally, reads the spine to recover the order the author intended, and rebuilds the book as one continuous document with proper print styling — chapters starting on fresh pages, headings that do not strand themselves at the bottom of a page, images that do not get sliced in half by a page break. You then save it as a PDF through your browser's own print dialog.
That last step is deliberate. Converters that produce a file with one click almost always do it by screenshotting each page, which turns every word into pixels: you cannot select the text, search it, or copy a quote, and a three-hundred-page book balloons to hundreds of megabytes. Going through the print dialog keeps the text as real text, so the finished PDF stays searchable and selectable and usually lands in the low single-digit megabytes. Comic archives (CBZ) are the exception — they are already images, so those download directly.
Convert an EPUB, FB2 or CBZ ebook into a PDF in your browser, without uploading the file anywhere.
Drag an EPUB, FB2 or CBZ file onto the upload area, or click it to browse. The file is read locally and never uploaded.
The title, author and chapter count appear once the file is parsed, so you can confirm the right book loaded.
Pick A4 or Letter, choose your margins, and adjust the font size until the preview length looks right for how you plan to read or print it.
Click the convert button. The book is laid out with print styling and your browser's print dialog opens.
In the print dialog, set the destination to "Save as PDF" and save. The text stays selectable and searchable in the resulting file.
