How is reading time calculated?
Reading time is estimated based on an average adult reading speed of about 200-250 words per minute. The calculation divides the total word count by this rate to give you an approximate time in minutes.
Does the word counter work for languages other than English?
Yes, the character counter works for all languages. Word counting works well for space-separated languages like English, French, Spanish, and German. For languages without spaces between words (like Chinese or Japanese), character count is typically more meaningful.
