Turning PDF pages into images is what you need when something will not accept a PDF: a forum post, a slide deck, an image field in a form, or a thumbnail for a preview. It is also the quickest way to get a specific figure or chart out of a document without screenshotting and cropping by hand.
Each page is rendered in your browser and saved as PNG or JPG. PNG keeps text edges crisp and is the right choice for documents with a lot of writing; JPG produces much smaller files and suits pages that are mostly photographs. Resolution is adjustable, since a thumbnail and something you intend to print have very different requirements.
One page downloads as a single image. Several pages arrive as a ZIP, numbered in order. Bear in mind that images have no text layer — once a page is an image, the words in it can no longer be selected or searched, so keep the PDF if you still need that.
